Hello, my name is Ras (Ross) Wollega (Wol-leg-ga), and I see the world through an Afro-American Indian perspective. I paint with oils and use realistic subject matter and brush strokes to try to make you feel a breeze of life, emotion, and color in the works I create.

I am also inspired by the spiritual side of the light and dark (the good and bad) of our daily life. Our spiritual side lay barely under the surface of the physical things we do. The life we see does not always come across on the straight and narrow, it can also come at an angle. That's the way I sometimes bring it to you. We all have to play the game of life with the cards we are dealt.
